Our New Building
This is the page where we posted photos of our new club building - built in Grant Street, Redcar.
As you may have been aware Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council are building a new leisure centre on the site where the Grenfell Club was located in Ridley Street.
The Grenfell Club and Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council discussed several options for the club, and it was felt that the opportunity to relocate with new facilities and a new building was the best option.
The car park on Grant Street was closed and boarded off and the building work started.
Here were some photos taken late in September 2011. The builders made very good progress.
November the 8th 2011 saw two of our members lay the last few bricks.
We opened the new building to members on Monday 13th February 2012.
