The Grenfell Club
The Grenfell Club is committed to the provision of a special place for people of varying abilities and age, to develop social and communication skills through leisure activities. We achieve this by having a friendly team of 15 staff and 26 volunteers and we hope to maximise each member's potential.

Friends Of Grenfell
Friends of Grenfell, is a carers group based at the Grenfell Club. The Friends of the Grenfell was formerly known as the Cleveland Society Mencap and was responsible for starting the Club in 1963. Its aim is to support people with a learning disability and their parents and carers. The group meets on the first Saturday in each month in the Grenfell Club, between 10am and 12noon.
From time to time we invite speakers to speak on relevant topics. The group campaigns on issues such as, education, transport and housing. We also have a voice on the Learning Disabilities Partnership Board.
The group enjoy social activities together and support each other in many ways. We welcome new members to our group, just come along to one of our meetings or call Redcar 01642 484376 for more information.
